Self Image in Business & The Law of Attraction!
Your self-image is the way you see yourself and think about yourself in your business or practice. It is frequently called your "inner mirror".
You look into this mirror in every situation in your business to see how you should perform on the outside. You always behave on the outside in a way that is in harmony with the picture you have of yourself on the inside. Without exception!
If you see yourself as relaxed, positive and competent in any aspect of your business, when you are engaged in that activity, you will feel relaxed, positive and competent and you will be in high spirits. You will perform well and get exceptional results. If, for any reason it doesn't go well, you will put it out of your mind and see it as a brief situation. Your self-image is clear. In your mind's eye you see yourself as first rate and competent in that area and nothing can get in the way with your mental picture.
The fastest improvements in your business success results come from changing your self-image. The instant that you see yourself in a different way you perform differently as well. And because you are performing differently, you get different Law of Attraction results.
Where in your business are you encouraging your clients to "think about it?" Is your self-image such that you cannot bring yourself to ask your potential client to make a buying decision and use your services? How many sales will you make by doing that? When you call people back after they had time to think about it, they would regularly say that they were not interested?
This can put your sales and business in a desperate position. Your income could take a nosedive. You may be talking to a lot of potential new clients, but making a small number of sales. Here is a tip that can and will change your results. I see this daily with my coaching clients. It is your fear of asking for the business that is causing all your problems. It isn’t your potential clients, it’s you. You need to change your self-image and thereby change your behavior if you want results to improve in your business.
When you make the decision that you would not call back a potential new client, things will change for the better in your business. When you decide that once you have completed your presentation or strategy session, the potential new client would know everything that they need to know to make a decision now. There is absolutely no benefit or advantage of leaving material behind or giving the potential new client a few days to think about it. When the potential new clients says "Let me think it over", you can say with kindness and sincerity that you do not make call backs because you are too busy, and then say, "You know everything you need to know to make a decision right now. Why don't you just go for it?" And here is what I typically hear from my coaching clients. The potential new client says, "OK. Let’s do it!”
That is one of the quickest ways to kick up your business income and sales. Every coaching client that uses this strategy has improved their income. They go from making one or two sales per week to making ten or twenty sales per week. Of course this helps to eliminate their worry about money and business. And the turning point was that conscious choice to change their self-image and make it more consistent with the results they wanted rather than the results that they were getting.
Here are two things you can do immediately.
Start to see yourself the way you want to be in your business. See yourself as a strong, authentic, positive, competent, and professional and compassionate person in every area of your business or practice. The person you see is the person you will be in your business.
Next, spot an area of selling where your own ideas and information about yourself and the situation are holding you back in your business. You always perform on the outside in your business the way you see yourself on the inside. Be the change that you want to see!
