Law of Attraction and wanting to do it all, now that you are attracting business success like crazy!
Last week, I was on a coaching call with one of my clients, who is in the enviable position of having her business success go through the roof.
She was tired and overwhelmed with her workload. Having attracted so much business using the Law of Attraction principles, she didn't’ want to stop applying them or give up anything. Yet she was so tired, she found herself dragging herself into the office every day.
This is a typical reaction that I see from women I coach. While they are having enormous success using the principles, tips and strategies from my Law of Attraction coaching programs, they are faced with the following challenges:
-
Deciding which new projects to begin or which new clients to take on. Some women struggle with saying no to prospective clients who aren’t a good match. They don’t want to let anyone down.
-
Prioritizing business activities to leverage their time, perhaps by automating parts of their process. If everything is equally important, how do they decide where to focus when they are attracting new clients so quickly and frequently?
- Anxiety about "giving up" something important and interesting to them that they have just attracted into their business. They feel like they are being limited, restricted or controlled if they have to choose one thing to focus on.
-
Fear of poverty or "scarcity mentality” starts to come through. It does seem counter intuitive that you are more likely to attract more clients and make more money by giving up new business that is not a match. Likewise, if you pass on interesting or exciting opportunities, you may feel like they will never come your way again. Now that you really kicked it up several notches using the Law of Attraction, you don’t want to stop.
Unfortunately, if you are not able to make some choices about priorities when attracting new business, a number of things can occur:
-
You become physically worn out, frazzled or sick.
-
You have countless priorities, none of which ever receive enough attention, and so nothing gets done in your business.
-
The quality of what you offer becomes compromised, hurting the relationship and connection with your customers.
-
You feel guilty about spending so much time working, now that you have so much more new business to deal with.
So here are some ideas that I have used with my coaching clients, without changing their Law of Attraction flow and their ability to manifest themselves in their business:
-
Start with the appropriate mind-set. Decide who your ideal client is. Refer the rest. It is all about prioritizing while maintaining well-being and balance.
-
Determine your ideas and plans and then add them to a calendar. This will focus your projects in a real time frame. Take each item and brainstorm the steps required to put it into practice.
-
Estimate the amount of time that each step will require. Then break down the tasks to be completed in the next 90 days.
-
Identify how to complete the tasks. Depending on how much is too much, you could use some of the following techniques:
-
Taper down your business ideas according to ease of carrying out, fastest money in your wallet, best market opportunity, as well as capacity to carry out effectively given your knowledge and skills, or best learning opportunity.
-
Decide which new clients to work with. Who would be an ideal match, the most interesting to work with; provide the best learning opportunity, or most lucrative opportunities.
-
Select marketing activities that leverage the fastest way to get started, the best way to reach your target group, and the quickest way to grow a list of your “ideal match” clients.
-
Continue to remove clients or projects that are not a match.
-
Identify the cost to your financial, emotional or physical well-being if you keep on doing everything all at once. To continue the flow while using the Law of Attraction you must be able to handle what you already have.
-
Create a long-term schedule where you plan to handle multiple projects of just the right match for you. Just knowing when the next project is due will make it easier to stop thinking about it all the time.
Simplifying multiple new projects into a reasonable workload may be challenging at first, but will be well worth it in the end. You will be open to more ideal clients, ideal projects and ideal opportunities. For unrestricted flow into your business using the Law of Attraction, you need a plan to work with. And quickly learn to let go of what is not a match for you.
Go out there and attract all of the abundance that is waiting for you!
